Kelt Capital Horse of the Year 2009

What a show!

Well another HOY has been and gone .. bigger and busier than any other.  Riders from all around the world came to participate; some even brought their own horses with them.  One of those was the Australian show jumper Chris Chugg who, on arrival at the show came straight over to get some Airlyte to replace the bedding in his box.

Our sponsored rider, Wendi Williamson, had a great show; winning her test by two clear points and her musical freestyle by three points - amazing margins ... GOOD ON YOU WENDI AND MONTY - and then taking out the Level Five dressage Horse of the Year.  What a team!

Unfortunately, there are always some idiots around and on Friday night they caused quite a lot of damage, injuring horses and then leaving them loose overnight.  One of those horses had recently recovered from a leg injury and was quite badly injured again and very traumatised. We donated some Airlyte to his owner for use in his stable to help reduce the risk of infection from the dirty bedding already in the box.  We take this opportunity to  extend our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

The interest in Airlyte as an alternative bedding for horses is growing and, considering the product is still relatively new to the market, it was gratifying to realise just how many people are aware it.  Thanks to all of you who talk to people about it ... we still think word of mouth is the best advertising we can have, so please, keep up the good work!

Finally, we'd like to say thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to share their exeriences and give us feedback on Airlyte.  We loved meeting you all and hearing your stories.  We're looking forward to catching up with you all again next year.
